Ellen "Mae" Osman

OSMAN, Mae - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Private Hospital on Tuesday October 27, 2015, at the age of 86. Best friend and dear companion of the late Douglas Thornton (1969). Predeceased by her parents Robbie and Maude (nee Melhuish) Osman. Mae will be lovingly remembered by her dear friends Anne McCutchen, Karen Pullen and Sandra Thornton and her special family; Janice and Jim Post. She will be sadly missed by all her many friends. Mae was a former resident of Devonshire Ave., Woodstock for over 80 years. She was the Director of Health Records Dept. at Woodstock General Hospital and had worked at Tripps Variety on Dundas when she was young. Special thank you to the nurses and staff of the Woodstock Private Hospital for their love, care and compassion to Mae. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday October 31st 2015 from 10-11 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11 am.
