MITCHELL - At Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday January 2nd, 2010, Ellen M. Mitchell (nee Brooker) in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Mitchell (2003). Dear mother of Jerry (Barbara) Mitchell of Beachville, Gordie (late Ellie - Sept. 2009) Mitchell of Field, ON, Carole (late Allen - May 2009) Hart of RR3 6 Woodstock, and Bill (Sharlene) Mitchell of Woodstock. Loving grandmother of 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Ellen is also survived by her sister Margaret (Ray) Rogers, and sister-in-law Helen Defayette. Predeceased by her parents William and Agnes (nee Wooldrige) Brooker, grandson Christopher Mitchell, brother Bill Brooker, brother-in-law Dorian Mitchell, and sister-in-law Phyllis Wheatley. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
