Ellen Beryle (Harris) Meadows

MEADOWS, Ellen Beryle – It is with great sadness the family of Ellen Meadows (nee Harris) announces her peaceful passing on Saturday February 12th, 2022 at the Maples Home for Seniors, Tavistock, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Wallace Meadows (2015). Cherished mother of Rosemary (Don) and Stephen. Much loved grandmother of Julie, Scott (Lindsey), and Carolyn. Predeceased by her parents John and Mildred Harris, sister Ruth Poyntz, brother Howard Harris, and granddaughter Beth MacDonald. Ellen was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star and a member of St. David’s United Church. Her Family is very thankful for the excellent care given to her by the staff at the Maples. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock for a time of visitation from 1-2 pm on Thursday February 17th. A funeral service is to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2pm. Burial at the Harris Street Cemetery will take place in the spring. RSVP via the Brock and Visser website is required to attend.
