Ellen Brown (Rutledge) Adams

ADAMS - Peacefully at her residence on Sunday, December 16, 2007. Ellen B. Adams (nee Rutledge) of Innerkip in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Adams (1994). Dear mother of Nancy Chesney and her husband Bill of Innerkip, Robert Adams and his wife Marilyn of Dayton, Ohio, Phil Adams and his wife Mary Ann of Windsor and the late David Adams (1953). Loved grandmother of nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Dear sister in-law of Tom Adams of Ottawa and Steve and his wife Dorothy of Watford. Predeceased by her sister and four brothers. Ellen was a member of the "B" Branch at St. Mary's Church in Windsor for many years before she and Bob moved to Innerkip where they enjoyed 34 years surrounded by the Chesney clan and the people of Innerkip Presbyterian Church. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) Wednesday, December 19, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Innerkip Presbyterian Church on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 10:30 am with Rev. Chris Little officiating. A graveside service will be held at Victoria Memorial Cemetery, Windsor on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 3:30pm.
