HOLLAND, Ella "Jean" (née Ross)

Jean passed away peacefully at Sakura House Hospice on November 10th, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on August 9, 1935 to parents Walter and Mary(née Chesney) Ross. Beloved wife of the late Mack Holland (2010) and the late Ralph Pastorius (1969). Dear mother of Linda Holland. Cherished grandmother of Liam and Mackenzie Klages. Jean was predeceased by sisters Marjorie Birtch and Marion Norman, and brothers Alexander Ross, Allen Ross, and Neil Ross. A graduate of Stratford Teachers’ College and member of the United Church for her entire life. She will be fondly remembered as a thoughtful and generous person by all who knew her. Jean’s favourite saying was “Let us not forget to be kind”. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock, (519)539-0004, on Monday, November 18th, 2024, from 10am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11am in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nancy Vandenberghe officiating.
