Ella May (Overholt) Manson

January 8, 1923 — October 12, 2009

MANSON- Peacefully at Sakura House, Woodstock on Monday October 12, 2009 after a brief battle with cancer. Ella May Manson (nee Overholt) of Eastwood in her 87th year. Ella was predeceased by her husband Craig Smith Manson (1923-2001) and her parents John Michael (1872-1963) and Ella May Overholt (nee Mighton)(1890-1923) and her brother-in-law John Musgrove of the U.K.. Ella is survived by her daughters Kathleen E. Wildfong and Brad, Karen M. Smith and Geoff, and by her son Kelly O. Manson and Teresa Banar. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy B. Peat (nee Overholt) and brother-in-law John Manson of the Township of Norwich. Ella was an accomplished pianist, an avid Blue Jays fan, a bookkeeper with King Truck Engineering and enjoyed playing cards with friends. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday October 16, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday October 17, 2009 at 10:30 am with Rev. Maya Landell of Eastwood United Church officiating. Interment in Princeton Cemetery. Contributions to the Eastwood United Church, VON Sakura House or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
