Ella Ruth Blueman

BLUEMAN- Ella Ruth Blueman born March 12th, 1917, daughter of the late Charles Blueman(1957) and the late Gertrude Parker Blueman(1943) passed way on Tuesday March 25th, 2003 in her 87th year at Woodstock Private Hospital. Ruth was a life time resident of Woodstock. She worked most of her life as a secretary at Harvey Woods and Woodstock General Hospital and was a longtime member of the Wingate Raiders I.O.D.E. and First Baptist Church. Ruth is the last member of her immediate family. She is survived by her loving cousin Betty J. Kelly of Woodstock, Patricia Knaggs Owens and Dr. Michael Owens and family of Newmarket, Stephen B. Schneider and Viki Schneider of Windsor and family, Jack Robertson of Callander, Ontario, and several cousins in Toronto. Ruth was a special aunt to the Norman Kelly family of Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Friday from 2:30-4:30 & 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held on Saturday at 3:30pm with Rev. David Stephens officiating. Interment later in the Baptist Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
