Elizabeth Mary Orlicky, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on August 11, 1940, in the serene landscapes of Northern Ontario, Elizabeth's life was a testament to her thoughtful nature and her zest for life.
Elizabeth's journey was marked by her dedication to education. For 31 years, she shaped young minds as a devoted educator in La Salette, where her passion for teaching was evident in the success and happiness of her students. Her commitment to nurturing growth extended beyond the classroom, as she was an active volunteer with the Girl Guides, imparted wisdom in Sunday School, and served her community with pride as a Lioness.
An avid gardener, Elizabeth found solace and joy in the tranquility of her garden, a space where she cultivated not just plants, but also the bonds of friendship and family. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, with each travel adventure adding a page to her rich tapestry of life experiences.
Elizabeth's legacy is carried forward by her loving sons, Stephen and Michael, who continue to walk in the light of her teachings and love. She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Mike, whose memory remained a guiding star in her life.
