Elizabeth "Betty" Anne (Yeo) Thompson

THOMPSON, Elizabeth "Betty" Anne (nee Yeo) - It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Betty Thompson at Sakura House on Sunday, November 10th, 2019.  She was born September, 19th, 1933 to James and Cora (Grace) Yeo.  Predeceased by her loving husband W.C. Allen Thompson (2015) for over 60 years.  They farmed side by side for over 50 years on the 15th Line East Zorra Tavistock before retiring to Woodstock in 2013.  Betty was a member of Innerkip United Church and then Central United Church.  She is survived by her 3 children Nancy and Gerald Hill of Poplar Hill, Bill and Jackie Thompson of Woodstock, Al and Heather Thompson of Foldens and son-in-law Dohn Pelton of Innerkip.  13 much loved grandchildren Becki (friend Wes)Pelton, Katie (Marinus) Stouwdam, Stephen (Veronica) Pelton, Marianne (Paul) Piggott, Kelly (Rob) Thuss, Chris (Logan) Hill, Cindy (Michael) Morrison, Alicia (Dan) Oliver, Tom Thompson, Sarah Thompson (Daniel Planckaert), Loretta (Frank) Joaquim, Ashley (Abe) Heinrichs and Anthony(Alicja) Thompson. 18 dearly loved great grandchildren, Danika and Alieda Stouwdam, Sophie and Jasper Piggott, Kace and Carson Pelton, Ben and Lily Thuss, Lochland and Harbor HIll, Samuel and Anya Morrison, Ryan Oliver, Declan and Maeva Planckaert, Payton and Devon Joaquim and Gabriella Heinrichs.  Survived by her sister, Ruth Shields (Late George), sister-in-law Thelma Yeo (Late Jim) as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Joanne Pelton(2014), sisters and brother-in laws, Olive and Oswald Hilderley and Pat and Ernie Wilson.  Sister-in-law and brother-in-law Helen and Gordon Harmer.  Friends are invited to join the family on Friday, November 15th, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 pm and again from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm for a time of visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue Woodstock, ON, 519-539-0004, where the service will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2019 at 11:00 am..  If desired memorial contributions to the Woodstock Hospital or V.O.N.
