CAMPBELL (Perry), Elizabeth “Beth” Muriel – passed away peacefully at peopleCare, Tavistock, on Friday, May 13, 2022, in her 94th year. Formerly of Woodstock and Embro. Beloved wife of the late Bill (2000). Predeceased by her parents Bert and Hilda Perry and brother John (2018). Dear sister-in-law to Betty Perry. Cherished aunt to Linda (Jim) Hess, David (Wendy) Perry, and Anne (Bob) Berge. Also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and extended family. Beth arrived in Embro in 1953 after her marriage to Bill and was a mainstay of the community until retirement took her to Woodstock in 2016. She was an active volunteer, being part of the Optimist Club, driving people to appointments, bookings for the Town Hall and Embro Knox United Church. She was also a gifted sewer and knitter. Along the way, she helped Bill with his rural mail routes and Beth also worked at several businesses in Embro. She was always happy, giving and a blessing to all who knew her. Friends are welcome to join the family at The Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 7-9pm. A funeral service to honour Beth’s life will be held at Knox United Church, Embro on Saturday, May 28 at 1:30pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment will follow in the North Embro Cemetery. *** Please be aware that masks and double vaccination is required to attend the service at Knox United Church *** If desired memorial contributions to Knox United Church Embro, peopleCare Tavistock or Woodstock Hospital would be appreciated.
