PHILLIPS - Peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Elizabeth "Betty" Catherine Phillips (nee Baine) of Woodstock in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of George Alvin Phillips. Dear mother of Bradley (Wendy) Phillips of Trenton, Ronald (Paula) Phillips of Brampton and Robert Phillips of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Andrew, Patrick, Heather and Danielle. Dear sister-in-law of Glenna (Winston) Batsford. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by both her parents and her sister Lorraine Izzard. Betty was an active member of both the Navy Club and the Royal Canadian Legion in Woodstock. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11 am with Rev. Jane Van Patter officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Woodstock Navy Club or the Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
