FLEMING, Elizabeth – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 18th, 2021 at Caressant Care in Woodstock in her 99th year. Loving wife of the late Burton Fleming (2006). Elizabeth and Burton were married for over 62 years. Cherished mother of Darlene (John) Hull and the late Kenneth (Deborah) Fleming. Elizabeth will be missed by her grandchildren Crystal (Chad) McCrudden, John Hull, Jason (Barbara) Fleming, Matthew (Joanne) Fleming and Ashley (Mark) Hominick along with 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her sister Mabel Rapson, brother-in-law Wilbert (Babe) and sister-in-law Doris. Elizabeth is predeceased by her sisters Dorothy Mills, Ruth Hodgins, Fanny Williams, May Brown, Isabel Archer and brothers Robert Archer, Thomas Archer, Jack Archer, William Archer, Frederick Archer, sister-in-law Barbara and brother-in-law Erwin. Elizabeth was a riveter in WW2 and a member of the Good Companions. She was a dedicated caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her time trailering in Port Dover, playing cards, paint by number painting and adult colouring. Arrangements are entrusted to Brock & Visser Funeral Home in Woodstock, ON. 845 Devonshire Ave. (519)539-0004. Visitations for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, May 25th from 10am to 12am. Pre-registration is required at http://www.brockandvisser.com. A private family service will take place later. If desired, memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Church of the Epiphany and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
