Elizabeth Jacqueline "Liz" Dewit

DEWIT, Elizabeth Jacqueline "Liz" - Passed away after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, at Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016. She was in her 58th year. Liz will be sadly missed by her loving husband Frank Dewit, her dear children Jeff & Shea, Sara, and Bryan as well as her cherished grandchildren Jason, Jenna, Daniel, and Kylie. Liz was the loved daughter of Henny and the late Jacob. Sister to Harry (Rosa), Jane, and Jake (Trish). Sister-in-law to Gerrit (Nellie), Anne (Henry), John (Margaret), and Dick (Elizabeth). Also missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Predeceased by sisters-in-law Rita and Elizabeth (John). Friends may join the family on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 6-8pm at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, and again on Saturday from 10-11am at the Thamesford Community Centre where the funeral will be held at 11:00am with Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Interment in St. Andrew's Cemetery with reception to follow at the Community Centre. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
