Eleonora Greczula, a beacon of love and a symbol of resilience, passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2023, in Woodstock, leaving behind a legacy of vibrant blooms in the gardens of our hearts. Born on May 10th, 1939, in Romania, Eleonora's life journey was a testament to her strength and her unwavering spirit.

Eleonora, known affectionately to all who knew her as a woman of grace and joy, embraced every moment with the zest of a thousand sunrises. Her passion for life was evident in the way she transformed her love for gardening into a canvas of colors that mirrored her vibrant personality. Her flowers were not just plants; they were her companions, sharing in her dance through life's seasons.

Her move to Canada was not just a change in geography; it was the opening of a new chapter in her extraordinary story. Eleonora's love for her family was her guiding star, and she poured that love into every encounter, every shared meal, and every tender moment. Her late husband John, her son, John, and his wife Monique, her nephew Rick and his wife Sue, her niece Jean and her husband Kaz, along with her great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and friends, were the cherished recipients of her boundless affection.

Eleonora's legacy is one of joy, the kind that sparks a light in others. As we remember Eleonora, let us honor her by living fully, loving deeply, and planting seeds of happiness wherever we go. Her memory will forever be a dance of light in our lives.

A private family service has taken place. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at Oxford Memorial Park. In honour of Eleonora, memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
