Eleanor Sarah (Jones) Fiddy

FIDDY, Eleanor S. - At the Woodstock Hospital, on Wednesday July 24th, 2013. Eleanor Sarah Fiddy (nee Jones) of Woodstock in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Percival Frederick Fiddy (2007). Cherished mother of Heather MacLeod and her husband Dr. Douglas Ross of Alabama. Also survived by her siblings Yvonne (late Jack) Burke of Orillia and Albert (late Ivy) Jones of Michigan. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Sarah (nee Foster) Jones. Eleanor was a longtime member of College Avenue United Church where she also enjoyed singing in the choir. She was an avid gardner as evidenced by the yearly palate of flowering plants at her longtime home on Cedar Street. Friends will be received at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004, on Saturday July 27th, 2013 after 1pm. The funeral service will take place in the chapel at 2pm. Interment to follow in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
