Eleanor Isabel Fanning

FANNING, Eleanor - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, February 7th, 2019, in Woodstock, Ontario. Eleanor was in her 92nd year and is survived by her much loved husband of over 70 years, Weldon. She was a good humoured tower of strength to all. Lovingly missed by her son, Richard (Kimberly) Fanning. They were lifelong residents of Peterborough, ON. Cherished grandmother of Ashley (Gabe) DeRosa and Ashley (Mark Stafford) McGowan. Great Grandmother to Gia, Tino and Marcello. Eleanor will also be fondly missed by her brother-in-law, Thomas Lyle and her nieces and nephew. Remembered with affection by her longtime friend, Jean Seabrook. She is predeceased by her sister Muriel (Babe) Lyle. Cremation has taken place. Private family service to follow.
