Elda Rossi

ROSSI, Elda (Vacilotto) - Our dear mother passed away peacefully on Friday, May 4th 2018 at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Orfeo Rossi (2011). Dear mother of Loriana Rossi (John Dibenedetto) and Francesca Rossi (Robert McManus). Proud Nonna of her beloved Maya McManus. Elda was born in Breda di Piave Treviso Italy. Elda immigrated to Switzerland where she met her husband Orfeo. After their marriage, they immigrated to Canada, initially settling in Toronto and quickly moved to Woodstock, where they raised their family and made their lives. Elda was a proud Canadian who will be remembered for her love of gardening, cooking and music. Visitation will be at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018 from 9am - 10:30am. The Funeral Mass will then be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock at 11:00 am with Father Dariusz Jagodzinski officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Woodingford Lodge Music for memories program would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
