HARBURN, Elaine – At Sakura House on Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, Elaine passed peacefully to a much-deserved rest.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Meloche, grandsons Kurtis, his partner Anna and their children Ila and Wyatt. Philip, his partner Sandra and their two children. Brothers Don and wife Betty, Bob, and sister-in-law Faye Upshall, Marg Upshall, and Elizabeth Harburn, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Elaine was predeceased by her husband Donald, Son David, and partner Vern Potter. Son in law Brian Meloche, Parents James and Mary Upshall, sister Grace Adkins, Brothers Jack and Doug Upshall, and brothers-in-law Wilmer Adkins and Ted Harburn.
Elaine worked for Harvey Woods for over 40 years and volunteered for many organizations over the years. She loved to garden and garage sale and had a lifelong passion with embroidering.
She will be missed assuredly by the hockey team girls and Harvey Wood’s lunch girls.
Friends are welcome to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday July 16, 2022, from 3:30 – 5:30 pm. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Sakura House Hospice or Sunbeam Home, Kitchener would be appreciated. We took care of you until we could no longer and then the wonderful family at Sakura house stepped in and propped us up. Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your care.
