Eileen Edith Minty

MINTY, Eileen E. - Passed away at her residence on Thursday July 12, 2018. Eileen Edith Minty of Caressant Care, Woodstock in her 94th year. Beloved daughter of the late George and Edith (nee McMurray) Minty. Dear sister of Kenneth J. Minty and his late wife Eleanor. Cherished aunt of Linda Minty, Richard Minty and great aunt to Nicholas, Jessica and will be always remembered by her closest friends; Kathy Writt and Janice Walters. Predeceased by her great niece Shannon Minty. Eileen taught nursing at Ingersoll, Brantford and Woodstock Hospitals, was the past Director of Nursing at Fanshawe College and was a Member Emeritus of the R.N. Association of Ontario. Eileen's passion was travelling the world. She was second in most cruises travelled with Princess Cruise lines. Eileen sponsored many disadvantaged children around the world and made it her mission to visit them when it was possible. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a grave side service at Hillview Cemetery, Fifth Ave., Woodstock on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place.
