Eileen Marie (Mcnulty) Merrifield

MERRIFIELD, Eileen Marie (nee McNulty) - September 16, 1924 - March 8, 2014. The world has lost a most amazing lady. Our mom passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on Saturday March 8, 2014 at the Woodstock General Hospital. She now has the biggest smile on her face being back in the arms of her best friend and life partner of over 63 years, her husband Ed (2012). She will be sadly missed by her children who felt so priviledged to have her as their mother: Ted (Estelle), Susan McIntosh (Bob), Tom (Donna), Nancy MacDonald (Wayne), Mike, Patti Ludington (Ryan). Best Nana ever to 13 "sweet babies": Tracey, Karen, Shaun and Kate McIntosh; Michael, Lauren and Patrick Merrifield; Amy, Kevin and Scott MacDonald; and Josh, Kenzie and Noah Ludington. Great Nana to 10 great grandchildren and another on the way. Also survived by her brother Tom McNulty (Mary-Jo) and family. Predeceased by an infant daughter (1949), her mother and dad, her brother Pat and sister Marg. Special thanks to Dr. Fryer, Diane Murray and all of the incredibly caring palliative team. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at 11:00am with Father Rick Dales as celebrant.
