Egon Johann Wakonig

Wakonig, Egon Johann - passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27th, 2016, at his residence, with his dear wife at his side. Egon was in his 87th year. He leaves behind his beloved wife Ilene Wakonig (Pike), his sons Barry (Valerie), and Brian. Also missed by his cherished grandsons, Michael and Matthew as well as his sister Karen in Austria. Friends are invited to join the family on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 10-11am at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, ON where the memorial service will be held at 11:00am. Reception to follow at the Beaty Room. Private interment in Robin's Hill Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
