MURRAY, Edythe - Peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on Sunday November 13, 2011 in her 89th year. Edythe Cook Murray (nee McIntosh) lived her life on the 8th line of RR#5, Embro. Beloved wife of the late G. Howard Murray (2003) for 53 years. Dear mother of Donald and his wife Gail (nee Wettlaufer) of RR# 5, Embro, Barbara Alves and her husband David of Elora, Eleanor McGroarty and her husband C.J. of Glenmore, Pennsylvania, Scott and his wife Mary (nee Wullms) of RR# 5, Embro and Marnie Kloppenburg and her husband David of Arva. Much loved grandmother of Holly Janssens (Scott), Tanya Scott (Bill), Susanne and Jessica Murray; Jocelyn, Angus, and Rosalind Alves, Siobhan and Jamie McGroarty, Calvin, and Jake Murray; Sophie, Sam, and Lila Kloppenburg and great grandmother of Devyn and Aislynn Janssens. Predeceased by her brothers Donald and Calvin McIntosh, and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Annie McIntosh, Henry and Jean Klippenstein, Helen Murray, Gordon and Myrtle Kalbfleisch and Marion and Cecil McKay. Edythe was a longtime active member of the Braemar Women's Institute, a member of the Women's Missionary Society and long time member of the Knox Presbyterian Church, Embro. Friends will be received by the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday November 18, 2011 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Ann Blane officiating. Interment to follow in the North Embro Cemetery.
