DAWSON, EDWIN MICHAEL 1950 -2014 With heavy hearts Ed's family announce his passing on January 30, 2014 at the Woodstock Hospital. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Wendy ( nee Snyder)., his son Kenneth (and Laurie) and his daughter Sandra. Ed will be missed by his mother, Joan Telfer (Dawson), his brother, Dr. Ross Dawson (and Patricia) and his sister, Dianne Williams (and Stan). Ed's grandchildren meant the world to him. Emily, Ethan and Evan will always remember Grandpa with fondness, as will several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, George Dawson and by a brother, Thomas. At Ed's request there will be no visitation. Family and close friends are welcome to attend a memorial service in the chapel of Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday February 1st 2014 at 5:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family. A special word of appreciation is extended to the nurses from CCAC and to Dr. Karen Fryer for her compassion and support to the Dawson family during this difficult time.
