CARTER - At his residence on Saturday May 20, 2006. Edwin H. Carter of Woodingford Lodge and formerly of Innerkip in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Catherine "Kae" Carter (nee Eddie) 1993. Dear father of Doug Carter and his wife Sally of Woodstock and Don Carter and his wife Marjorie of Stratford. Loved grandfather of Pat (Larry) Riness, Scott (Connie), David (Andrea), Barbara (Ed) Kuipers, Susan (Greg) Crocker, Paul (Morna) and great grandfather of Jennie, Trevor, Ashley, Drew, Jacqueline, Allison, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Ryan, Celeste, Aubrey, Marek and Abigail. Dear brother of Harry Carter (Ruby) of Innerkip. Predeceased by his brothers Howard (Margaret), Albert, Glen (Ellen), by his sister Henrietta Facy. Edwin was a longtime Elder of Innerkip Presbyterian Church. He had contracted many buildings in Woodstock and surrounding area for many years. Edwin was a long standing member of the Woodstock Home Builders Association, a past Director and President of the Innerkip Seniors Centre and finally an active member of the Woodingford Lodge Seniors Council. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Tuesday May 23, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev.
