SMITH- Suddenly on June 14th, 2003, Edward "Ted" Smith of Housers Lane, Woodstock at the age of 44. Beloved husband and best friend of Liz Smith (nee Cowell). Loving father of Tracy and Ryan both at home. Dear son of Alice Smith of Woodstock. Loved brother of Tom and his wife Pat of Woodstock. Son-in-law of Shirley Cowell of Woodstock. Brother-in-law of Barb and Wayne Storey of Kanata, Pat and Alain Dufour of Quebec, Bert and Lynda Cowell of Woodstock, and Tony and Amanda Cowell of Woodstock. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Best friend of Chris and Bob Crabbe of Woodstock. Ted is predeceased by his father Gordon Smith(2000), father-in-law John Cowell(2002), and brother-in-law Ken Cowell (1982). Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday from 7-9 pm, and Wednesday from 2:30-4:30 & 7-9 pm where the service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1:30 pm.
