Edward (Bud) Kennedy

KENNEDY , Edward V. - On Tuesday, December 19th, 2006, Edward V. "Bud" Kennedy died peacefully at Norview Lodge in Simcoe, Ontario in his 94th year. Bud was predeceased by his wife Mildred and sisters Pearl and Marjorie. He was a life time dairy farmer at Oxford Centre where he operated Kenncrest Farm and was awarded the Holstein Friesian Association of Canada Master Breeder Award, served as a Director on the Ontario Milk Marketing Board and was Past President of the Oxford Holstein Breeders Association. He served for many years on the Oxford County Board of Education, was a Past Master and 60 year member of the Blenheim 108 Masonic Lodge and a life time member of the Oxford Centre United Church. He is survived by sons John (Marylou) of Turkey Point Ontario, Laing (Saundra) of Kent Ohio, grandchildren Mark (Heather) of Exeter, Brian (Marion) of Oxford Centre, Julie Krauss (George) of Turkey Point, Kelly Kennedy of Stow Ohio, Karyn Brune (Sean) of Baltimore Maryland and nine great-grandchildren, Laura, Sarah, Steven, David, Christopher, Noah, Andrew, Caroline and Campbell. A family memorial service will be held to honour Bud's life at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Oxford Centre United Church would be appreciated and may be arranged through the R.D.
