Edward Patrick "Ed" Hartley

Hartley, Edward Patrick - After a courageous battle with cancer, Ed passed away at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday January 29th, 2012 at the age of 65. Ed was born April 14th 1946, in Placentia, Newfoundland to Edward and Elizabeth (Dray) Hartley. On January 29th, 1977 he married his beloved wife, Jean Delores (nee McLean) Hartley. Together they had three adoring children, son Craig Anthony Hartley (spouse Kimberley Nerbas Hartley), daughters Lisa Anne Hartley(spouse Michael Kopinak) and Alana Lynn Hartley. Ed will be missed by his 11 devoted siblings, Lucy Kelly (Anthony), Margaret Kelly (Patrick), Gerard Hartley (Linda), Joan Kehoe (late John), Dermot Hartley (Sharon), James Hartley, Ronald Hartley (Terry), Betty Jones (James), Helen Hartley (Gilles), Thomas Hartley (Hermance) and Kevin Hartley (Deborah) and by his loving in-laws, mother-in-law, Florence McLean, brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul McLean (Beth), Christine Bruce (Robert), Beverly McDonald (Robert), Barry McLean (Marion), Ramona Pitcher (Fred), David McLean (Patsy), Jerry McLean (Fiona) and a large circle of family and friends. Ed was predeceased by his parents Edward and Elizabeth Hartley and his father-in-law David McLean.
