BAKER - At his residence on Monday April 12, 2004. Edward M. Baker of Bonnie Brae Nursing Home Tavistock and formerly of Chieftain St. Woodstock in his 77th year. Beloved husband for 56 years to Edith Baker (nee Cook). Dear father of Al and his wife Liz of Chatham. Loved grandfather of Christopher Baker of Georgetown, Todd Perrin of Tampa, Florida and Jeff Perrin of London. Also survived by his sister in law Joan of Burlington and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son David (1969), sister Ruth Lewis and brothers Herbert and Elgin. Ed touched many lives during his 25 years of teaching at College Avenue Secondary School and was a member of both Old St. Pauls Anglican Church and the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association. Cremation. At the request of Mr. Baker a private family graveside service will be held at the Anglican Cemetery at a later date. Contributions to the Parkinson Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home Woodstock (539-0004).
