Edna Kathleen (Vance) Utting

UTTING - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday August 29, 2005. Edna Kathleen Utting (nee Vance) of Chieftain St. Woodstock in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Utting (1996). Dear mother of Mike and his wife Sharon, Gord and his wife Pat, Tom and his wife Anne, Pam Smith and her husband Bruce and Dave all of Woodstock, Mary Shier and her husband Mike of Belle River and George and his wife Shelley of Tillsonburg. Loved grandmother of twenty one grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Also survived by special friend Norm Pallister and dear friend Barbara Weir. Predeceased by her son Bill (1998), by her brother George Vance and by her sister Mae Brotherton. Edna was a member of the C.W.A.C. and Knox Presbyterian Church, Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Wednesday August 31, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 10:00 am with Major Elaine Becker officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
