POWELL - At her residence on Saturday, May 31, 2008. Edna (Porter) Powell of Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock in her 93rd year. Wife of the late William "Bill" Powell (2006). Mother of Richard of Edmonton and grandmother of Michele, James, Jason, Kimberley, also living in Edmonton. Sister-in-law of Margaret (Powell) Trezise of Woodstock, George and his wife Bertha of Newfoundland, Laurie and his wife Joan of Woodstock, Charles "Chuck" and his wife Dale of Ottawa. Also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother and father, five sisters and three brothers. Edna was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday, June 2, 2008 from 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 pm.
