BROOKES - Suddenly at Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, Edna Irene Brookes (nee O'Dell) of Woodstock in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Gord Brookes. Dear mother of Rick Brookes of Brampton and Wendy Snider (David) of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Wesley, Aislinn, Keely, Aelish, and Sean. Dear sister of Reaford O'Dell (Elsie), Ann Martini (Santo), and sister-in-law of Dorothy O'Dell and Thelma O'Dell. Predeceased by her brothers Jack and Jim O'Dell and her sister Bernice Horan. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Saturday, October 31, 2009 after 12:30 pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 pm.
