PETERSON - At her residence on Friday December 26, 2003. Edith M. Peterson (nee Kingdon) of Sunset Blvd., Woodstock in her 93rd year. Beloved wife and companion of 49 years to James Peter Peterson. Dear mother of Louise Fitzgerald and her husband Thomas Murray of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Michele Sanderson and her husband Darren of Woodstock and great grandmother of Jessie, Jake, Jamie and Brody. Dear sister of Nelson Kingdon of Aurora. Predeceased by her brother Cecil Kingdon (1989). Edith was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star - Khaki Chapter. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, on Tuesday 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30pm with Pastor Robert MacGregor officiating. Interment in the Baptist Cemetery. Contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated. An Order of the Eastern Star service under the auspices of the Order of the Eastern Star - Khaki Chapter, Woodstock will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm.
