PALMER - Surrounded by his family at the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. C. Ed Palmer of Woodstock in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Klazina "Chris" Palmer (nee Rossewy) for over 48 years. Dear father of Susan Lilley, Stephen and his wife Karen all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Daniel Palmer of Burnaby, BC. Dear brother of Wayne and his wife Pitsy of Toronto, Robert of Woodstock, Dianne Palmer of Stratford and brother-in-law of Rene Rossewy, Harry Rossewy and his wife Betty all of Woodstock and Tony White and his wife Val of Manitoba. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother-in-law John Rossewy. Ed was a past employee of Kelsey Hayes and a founding member of the Woodstock Radio Controlled Flying Club. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday, October 12, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A mass of the resurrection will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Woodstock on Saturday at 10:30 am with Fr. Augustine Ogundele officiating. Interment in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery. Contributions to the South Gate Centre, V.O.N. Sakura House or the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
