Earle Leroy Shoemaker

SHOEMAKER- Peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Thursday August 16th 2012. Earle LeRoy Shoemaker of Drumbo in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Dorothy Shoemaker (nee Chesney)(2011). Dear father of Ron (Sue) of RR# 2 Innerkip and Fred (Sandy) of Drumbo. Loved grandfather of Lezlie (Brad), Bob (Cheryl), Shawn (Marta) and great grandfather of Robbie, Madison and Emily. Dear brother-in-law of Earle (Katherine) Chesney, Helen (Reg) Murray and Shirley (Bill) Crosby. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his infant grandson Stephen, his sister Helen and her husband Alex Laird and by his nephew Gary Laird (2012). Earle farmed in the Drumbo area for many years, he was an avid sportsfan and loved to travel. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Sunday August 19th 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday August 20, 2012 at 11:00 am with Rev. Liz Lemon officiating. Interment at Drumbo Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Willis United Church would be appreciated.
