PYE- At Woodstock General Hospital on January 19, 2006, Earl Henry Pye of Woodstock in his 70th year. Born in East Zorra Township on January 16, 1937. Beloved husband of Rosemary Pye (nee Soden) for nearly 49 years. Devoted father of Bill (Cheryl) of R.R.#4 Langton, Rosemary of Tavistock, Wendy (Brad), Tina Keizer (John), Tom and John (Angie) all of Woodstock.. Survived by his sisters Margaret Robinson of Calgary Alberta, Velma McMillan of Embro, Helen Guy (Ernie) of R.R.#5 Woodstock, Marion Lebrechthausen (Tom) of Harrison Hot Springs B.C., by his brothers Tom Pye (Evelyn) of Drumbo, Ron Pye (Kathleen) of Embro, Clare Pye (Valerie) of Huntsville. Also survived by his brother-in-law Phillip Soden of Ingersoll, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his twin daughters Lisa and Lynda (1975), his parents William Pye and Elizabeth (nee Clare), sister Eileen Pye, brother-in-laws Bruce McMillan and Arthur Robinson, father-in-law Nelson Soden, Mother-in-law Irene Soden (nee Wurker), sister-in-law Jeanette Rosehart. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., (519-539-0004) on Sunday January 22, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Eleanor Caruana officiating. Interment in the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
