Earl William "Slim" Chambers

CHAMBERS - Called home to be with His Lord on Saturday October 13, 2007. Earl (Slim) William Chambers of Kendall Ave. Woodstock in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Edith Chambers (nee Lange). Dear father of David of Corbyville, Linda Hoekstra (Abe) of Huntsville, Paul (Lorene) of Putnam, Allan of Edmonton, Karen Scholten (John) of Dorchester, Phillip Chambers of Woodstock and Peter Chambers (Karen) of St. Catharines. Dear father-in-law of Nancy Chambers of Toronto. Sadly missed by thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Loved brother of Frank Chambers (Fern) of Norwich. Earl is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Mark Chambers, and siblings Olive Mitchell and Rolly Chambers. Earl was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church for over 60 years and was also a member of the Woodstock and London Square Dancing Clubs. Friends may call at Bethany Lutheran Church, 175 Springbank Ave. N., Woodstock on Tuesday October 16, 2007 after 1:00 pm where the funeral service will be held in the church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Richard Holm officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery.
