Earl Jacob Brenneman

BRENNEMAN, Earl Jacob - Passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday January 30th , 2018 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of over 62 years to Helen M. Brenneman (nee Lines). Loving father of Michael (Dace Berg), Wayne and Chris (Elaine Ault). Cherished grandfather of Amy (Shawn McAllister), Andrea (Rob McOrmand) Aleisha and Rikki (Ryan Hawkings) and great-grandfather of Destiny, Marc, Lochlan, Cohen and Rylee. Predeceased by his parents Solomon and Lydia (nee Roi) Brenneman, his infant son David, his grandson Marc, siblings Dorothy (Clayton Wagler), Jerry, Archie (Merle) Brenneman, and in-laws Edward and Clara (nee Logan) Lines. The V.W. Bro. Earl Brenneman was an active member of the Thistle Lodge, Embro, Oak Branch Lodge, Innerkip, St. John's Lodge, Paris. Earl was a member of the Scottish Rite, Woodstock and was a 33rd degree Mason, also being appointed as the Grand Standard Bearer. Earl served on the Embro Council, the Embro West Zorra Fire Department, was President and Lieutenant Governor of the Optimist Club, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 318, Embro. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, ON 519-539-0004, on Monday February 5th 2018 from 10 am to 11am. A Masonic Lodge service under auspices Oak Branch Lodge, Innerkip will be held in the chapel on Monday February 5th 2018 at 11:00 am, followed by the Memorial Service.
