E. Joanne Quenneville

(Edna) Joanne Quenneville, 73, of Thorndale, ON passed away peacefully on November 19, 2018 at University Hospital in London. Born November 20, 1944 in London, ON. She is predeceased by her parents Howard and Ethel Jones and her older brother Ray Jones. Joanne will be dearly missed by her husband, Ken Quenneville; her three sons, Andrew Irwin of Kelowna Victor Irwin (Elizabeth) of Calgary and Jason Irwin (Lorie) of Dorchester and her brothers Hugh Jones and Tony Diodati of Thorndale. Joanne was a loving Gramma to Wyatt, Viktoria, Nathan, Matthew, Evie and Taylor but was also known as "Grandma Jo" to many others. For over 20 years, Joanne worked hard as a joint owner of a dairy farm operation in Dorchester, ON. Later in life, she went on to work as a ward clerk at the London Psychiatric Hospital. Joanne loved to spend time with her friends and work in her gardens. She had a passion for music, reading and art. She always had a soft spot for animals and she loved her dogs. Joanne travelled the world and spent her winters in her second home of Lakeland, FL. Visitation will be held on Friday November 23, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Brock and Visser Funeral Home in Thamesford, ON. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday November 24, 2018 at the Thorndale United Church with interment following at Zion Hill Cemetery. With Joanne's love of all children, in lieu of flowers the family request that donations can be made to the Sunshine Foundation of Canada.
