GILMORE, Durle Dennis

Passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024 at 92 years of age at Sakura House.

Beloved husband of Leola of 72 years. Loving father Dale (Bronwyn Warmington) Gilmore. Dear grandfather of Jeremy and Belinda Gilmore all from Australia.

Brother of Vaida (Henry) Dobrowney.

Predeceased by his parents Victor and Cora, brother Lawrence, Harold (late Patricia), and sister Betty (Late Lawrence) Cook.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A proud resident of Burgesville for 46 years, Durle was a master autobody mechanic, known for his meticulous work and warm camaraderie. His hands, skilled in the art of restoration, brought countless vehicles back to their former glory.

Upon retirement, Durle embraced his passion for music, finding joy and fellowship with the Gypsy Campers. His laughter and tunes became a staple around the campfire, as he shared stories and strummed into the hearts of all who had the pleasure of his company.

A visitation will take place on Thursday September 19, 2024 from 10-10:45 am, followed by a funeral service at 11 am (will be live streamed) at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave. 519-539-0004 ).
