STEWART - At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday November 9, 2003. Douglas M. Stewart of Bee St., Woodstock in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy I. Stewart (nee Hollyman) for 65 years. Dear father of Karl and his wife Debrah and Kathryn McLean all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Jefferey, Shane(Kelly) all of Woodstock, Amber Kilback (Richard) and Tyler all of London, Jason Brearley (Karin) of Burgessville and Ryan Brearley of Ingersoll. Loved great grandfather of Ashtin Mathewson. Dear brother-n-law of Francis McClinchey and her husband Bob of Blyth. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Jean ( nee McCulloch) Stewart. Douglas was employed by Union Gas until his retirement. He was a veteran of WW II , a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55, Woodstock and the First Hussar's Association of London. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 1:30 pm with Rev. David Duncan officiating. Interment in the Hillview Cemetery. Contributions to the College Avenue Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
