KILLING- At Stratford General Hospital on Friday June 6, 2003. Douglas Edward "Ted" Killing of Embro in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Lazenby). Dear father of Fred and fiancee Nancy, Stephen and wife Laurie and Bill and friend Sharon all of R. R. # 2, Tavistock and Betty Lamers and husband Jim of Ingersoll. Loved grandfather of 10 grandchildren. Dear brother of Lucy McLaren of Woodstock and Marion Smith and husband Don of Hickson. Brother in law of Merv Zehr of Tavistock. Predeceased by sisters Francis MacDonald and Freda Zehr and brothers Henry, Jack and Russell. Ted was a member of East Zorra Tavistock Township Council and Christ Church Huntingford. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday 7-9 pm and Wednesday 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Eleanor Caruana officiating. Interment in the Christ Church Huntingford Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Huntingford Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
