Douglas Arthur Hutchison
July 9, 1935 — May 8, 2016
HUTCHISON, Douglas Arthur - passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, May 8th, 2016 in his 81st year. Doug was the beloved husband of the late Barbara June Ross Hutchison (1987), and the late Alice Weir Hutchison (2012). Loving father to Stephen (Lisa), Brian (Elaine), and Lyle (Deborah). Stepfather to Robin Weir (Joanne Dickinson) and Teresa Weir. Cherished grandfather to Jordan (Breanna), Jared, Monica, Michael, Gordon, Amy, Jennifer, Cole, and Connor, great-grandfather to Jaxxon and Solomon. Doug was a long time member of the North Oxford History Club. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 10 - 11am at the Westminster United Church, 115 George St. Thamesford, where the memorial service will be held at 11:00am. Interment in the St. Andrews Cemetery with reception to follow in the church hall.
