NELSON- Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Peter Douglas Nelson of Wellington St. N., Woodstock in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Glenna Winnifred Nelson (nee Mighton)(2004). Dear father of Gary (Helen) Nelson of London, Brian (Sue) and Stephen Nelson all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Craig (Karen), James (Michelle) , Erin, Rebekah and Adrienne and cherished great grandfather of Rachael. Dear brother of Jim Nelson, Betty Buckthorpe and brother-in-law of Jim (Kay) Mighton and Victoria Scalisi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Doug was employed with the Eureka Foundry for over 40 years, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 55 Woodstock for 60 years, and a member of the Woodstock Downs Golf Club. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 4 - 6 pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 1:30 pm with Rev.
