Dorothy M.S. (Kilby) Zavitz

ZAVITZ- Peacefully with family at her side on Sunday February 15, 2004 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener in her 86th year. Dorothy (Dolly) M. S. Zavitz (nee Kilby) of Ingersoll Ave. Woodstock. Beloved wife of the late Earl Wellington Zavitz (May 28, 1993). Dear mother of Patricia Bowman (James), MaryLou Moyer all of Woodstock, Audrey Blair (Clifford) of Beachville, Margaret (Peg) Nicholson of Sweaburg and Susan Aube (Serge) of Ingersoll. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Grace Hall of Woodstock and Jack Kilby of Vancouver. Predeceased by her daughter Helen C. Zavitz (1992), brothers Edward (Ted) Kilby, and Charles A. Kilby, sisters Edna Kilby, Alice McGinnis, Doris Shaw and Bertha Gillingwater and by sons-in-law William V. Nicholson and Joe T. Moyer. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Carman Holborough officiating. Interment Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Helen C. Zavitz Memorial Fund at Parkwood Hospital, London or the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
