TAYLOR, Dorothy L. - At her residence on Friday January 16, 2015. Dorothy Lorraine (nee Eedy) Taylor of Park Lane Terrace, Paris in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Robert Taylor for over 40 years. Dear mother to Robert W. Taylor (Robbie) and Mary Ann Grubb and her husband Rod. Loved grandmother of Thomas and Joshua. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Jean (nee Fraser) Eedy, brothers; Wilfred Eedy, Richard Eedy, sisters; Mary Allen, Florence Riddell, Evelyn Pilgrim, Marjorie Blyde and Violet Ross. Dorothy was the last surviving member of her own family. She was a teacher in the Belmont area for over 17 years and retired in 1974. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday January 21, 2015 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Bonnie Pilkey officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the Innerkip Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Parkinson Foundation or W.D.D.S. would be appreciated.
