ROWELL - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday October 19, 2003. Dorothy Margaret Rowell (nee Dixon) of Light St., Woodstock in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late John Rowell (1982). Dear mother of Bill and his wife Lynda of Hickson. Loved grandmother of David and his wife Krista of Oakville, Jeffrey of Kitchener and Kristen of Hickson and proud great grandmother of Matthew David. Dear sister of Keith Dixon (Velma) of Owen Sound, Bill Dixon (Jane) of Orillia, Ross Dixon (Janet) of Shelbourne, Howard Dixon (Shirley) of Owen Sound and sister-in-law of Donna Dixon of Owen Sound and Peggy Rowell of Hamilton. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Loved and missed by her Light St. family. Predeceased by her brother Harold. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Tuesday 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9pm, where the complete private family service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday with the Reverend Bruce Genge officiating. Interment in the White Chapel Cemetery, Ancaster. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated.
