Dorothy (Kemshead) Laing

LAING - At her residence on Sunday February 4, 2007. Dorothy Laing (nee Kemshead) of Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock and formerly of Light St., Woodstock in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Laing and the late Nathan Cocker. Dear mother of Pauline Pratt and her late husband Donald (1990) of Woodstock, Eleanor McDonald and her husband Lloyd of Waterloo, Gloria Foster and her husband Bill and Eva Muir and her late husband Harvey (1992) all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bob Usher and his wife Sheila of Embro, Tony Usher and his wife Tina of St. Mary's, Luella Sipple and her late husband John (2007) of Bright and Reta Green and her late husband Jack (2005) of Embro. Predeceased by her daughter Bernice Gee (1969), by her sister Eva Stewart (1996) and by her brother Bruce Kemshead (1983). Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday February 6, 2007 from 7 - 9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Dorothy's life will take place at Oxford Baptist Church, Woodstock on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Pastor Brian Stewart officiating.
