Dorothy's enduring love story with her devoted husband, Harry Hough, spanned more than 64 years, a testament to their unwavering partnership and deep affection. Together, they navigated life's ups and downs and stood side by side through every joy and challenge. Their shared journey included the successful co-management of Zorra TV, where Dorothy's warm personality and made a lasting impression on colleagues and the community alike.

She was the cherished matriarch of a large and loving family that includes her children: Darlene Hough, Frances Daly, Vicky (Brad) Cunningham, Louise Derudder, Joe (Lisa) Hough, and Laurena (Lorne) Beaver. Dorothy's legacy continues through the lives of her 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, whose achievements and happiness brought her immense pride and joy.

Described by all who knew her as loving, kind, and friendly, Dorothy's natural ability to connect with people was one of her most endearing qualities.
