DAVIS, Dorothy Lucille - Passed away May 8, 2014 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, ON in her 85th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Ray Davis (2001). Loving mother to Ruth Gowing (1990) (John) of Turkey Point, Ron Davis of Stratford, Jean Balfour of Uniondale and Lorna Davis (Jim Morrissey) of Crediton. Cherished grandmother to Jeffery Gowing, Gregory Gowing (Rachel) and Janelle Kendall (Dan), Wendy Balfour (Scott), Jaclyn Balfour, Amy Balfour, Carol Prance (Jeff), Tim Morrissey (Aimee), and Joanna Calamusa (Scott). Dorothy will also be missed by 9 great grandchildren, her sister Donna Flynn and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and 12 siblings. Friends may call on the family at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St. Thamesford, 519-285-2427 on Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 2-5pm and again an hour prior to the service which will held on Monday at 1:00pm with Rev. David Williams officiating. Interment in the Vining Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Marys Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
