Dorothy Irene (Garbutt) Bray

Bray, Dorothy Irene (nee Garbutt) – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday October 7th, 2019 at the Woodstock Hospital in her 89th year. Loving wife of the late Carl Bray. Cherished mother of Ron (Lori) Bray and David (Isabelle) Bray. Caring grandmother of Chris (Tanya) Bray, Kelly (Mike) Diehl, Mathias Bray and Magalie Bray. Proud great grandmother of Tyson, Aubrey, Jackson and Brynnley. Dear sister in law to Shirley Pete, Joyce Bray and Mary Bray. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.  Dorothy was a longtime member and volunteer at the Moose Lodge and was an active member of the Women’s Institute at Hickson United Church. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family on Thursday October 10th, 2019 at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The service will take place the following day, Friday October 11th, 2019 in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
